Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. The Community Marketing & Impact Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing locally relevant marketing and environmental initiatives within the assigned territory. The role ensures alignment with Patagonia EMEA’s business and impact strategy, delivering high-quality activations across brand marketing, community engagement, and environmental activism in collaboration with regional managers, sales teams, and EHQ stakeholders


Main tasks:

Local Roadmap Planning & Execution. Develop and implement detailed local marketing and environmental plans that reflect the territory’s cultural, commercial, and activist landscape. Align calendars, priorities, and activations with the EMEA roadmap through collaboration with regional managers, sales teams, and EHQ stakeholders.

Brand Marketing & Community Engagement. Execute seasonal brand campaigns and community activations, including events, ambassador programs, and digital initiatives. Strengthen Patagonia’s positioning as a responsible technical outdoor brand by elevating core sport categories and working closely with EHQ Brand, PR, and Community Marketing teams.

Environmental Activism & Grants. Plan and deliver local environmental campaigns and manage the 1% for the Planet granting process in collaboration with the EHQ Enviro team. Build strong relationships with NGOs and activist networks to deepen consumer engagement in environmental and social justice issues.

Channel Collaboration. Coordinate with retail and wholesale partners on community and environmental activations. Contribute to store openings, in-store storytelling, and participation in regional trade shows to ensure consistency and quality across all consumer touchpoints.

• Marketing Operations. Manage operational needs such as translations, POP materials, and event collateral to maintain brand consistency. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing deliverables.

Budget Tracking & Execution. Plan, track, and manage local budgets across brand activation, seeding, and event production. Ensure timely invoicing and monitor budget performance against planned activities to maintain financial accuracy and strategic alignment.


What we’re looking for:

• An inclusive mindset

• Min. 2-3 years’ experience in brand marketing, PR, events management

• Experience in PR and marketing campaigns planning and execution

• Strong stakeholder collaboration, organization and coordination skills

• Good understanding of budget management

• Experience in community and NGO engagement will be a plus

• Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal communication

• Fluent in German and English

• Flexibility: traveling throughout Germany and occasional working on weekends or after working hours will be required

• A love of the outdoors

• An interest in saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work

• This is a Full-time position based in Munich, Germany

• We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
