Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. You’ll be helping us achieve this by making the right level of assortment for our ecommerce platform, managing the stock in-season, whilst supporting the wider ecommerce team, to have all the tools required to ensure that we are providing the best experience to our end consumer, whilst also insuring Patagonia’s brand standards are applied throughout


Main tasks:

• Determine the EMEA Ecommerce product assortment, to ensure the correct product is assorted to achieve the business goals

• Take responsibility for the overall management of product mix & style/size analysis, being aware of product lifecycle management. Ultimately ensure that style/colour/size productivity is optimised

• Create, generate & update excel and system-based reports and tasks (i.e BI reports, 7th Online maintenance, Hindsight data).

• Manage monthly forecast of current seasonal stock – Review & report on weekly, monthly & seasonal sales performance & take actions necessary to improve in-season trade & report on results on a pre-determined basis

• Leverage key learnings to inform future seasonal assortments

• Share seasonal priorities & product focus with Ecommerce Planner on new seasonal forecast

• Work with ecom planner at key forecasts to ensure correct balance of product to meet requirements within pre-determined budget

• Report back to Business Unit buying team on the current market needs and trend shifts during the season

• Collaborate with marketing on key stories for the season & monitor supply to meet marketing calendar expectations

• Prepare discontinued merchandise list, based on discount guidelines mid-season


What we’re looking for:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising

• Experience in seasonal processes, good understanding of seasonality and its impact in business, preferably in apparel and/or outdoor industry

• Strong computer knowledge and strong system skills such as: Power BI, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel

• Experience with merchandise and assortment planning platforms (like 7thonline or similar) is a plus

• Strong presentation & communication skills

• Cross functional thinking, ability to work with different stakeholders

• Fluent English

• A love of the outdoors

• An interest in saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work


It’s a plus if you also have the following:

• Experience with or knowledge of technical outdoor apparel


Other important details:

• This is a Full-time position based in Amsterdam

• We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
