You role:

We’re in business to save our home planet. Your role will contribute to this purpose by leading the planning and execution of all local marketing and enviro efforts, ensuring that all communications and activations will be implemented according to the Patagonia EMEA business strategy. This role is the key liaison between EMEA strategy and local implementation/production and must ensure that the three key areas of the function are supported to the required level: Brand Marketing, Wholesale Marketing and Enviro.


Main tasks:

  • Work closely with the Regional and the EHQ Marketing and Enviro Teams to secure local execution of global and EMEA campaigns.

  • Work with all stakeholders - marketing, enviro and sales - to create local marketing & enviro strategies in support of the EMEA business strategy.

  • In partnership with the Community Marketing & Impact Manager Southern Europe and Emerging Markets, the Italian Country Manager, and the Local Sales Team define detailed local marketing plan.

  • Lead in-region brand marketing activation and fortify partnerships to elevate our positioning as a responsible technical outdoor brand by strengthening our core sport categories.

  • In partnership with the Community Marketing & Impact Manager Southern Europe and Emerging Markets manage local budget for Brand Activation, Wholesale Marketing, Marketing Contribution, Seeding and POP, ensuring timely and on-budget execution of local marketing plans.

  • Trade marketing lead: handle requests from key accounts and local dealers for POP, window campaigns, online content and store events and ensure on-time deployment.

  • Lead the marketing relationship with the Italian Partner Stores for window campaigns and store events.

  • Lead the production and execution of local events such as Worn Wear, film screenings, panel discussions and enviro events.

  • Lead the measurement and evaluation of local marketing activities, with a strong focus on trade marketing insights and numbers.

  • Lead local translations in coordination with the Translation and Web Content Coordinator.

  • Support local partnerships with institutions, ambassadors, and NGO network; build a strong community of NGOs and activist.

  • Be connected into the key environmental issues of the country and recommend how Patagonia can best engage.

  • Support dipper engagement of our consumers in environmental issues.

  • Support the 1% for the Planet granting process for local groups.

  • Support local 1% for the Planet grantees with their Patagonia Action Works (PAW) needs.

  • Work as needed with regional PR agency and coordinate with Amsterdam PR teams.

  • In partnership with the Community Marketing and Impact Manager South Europe and Emerging Markets, work closely with the Italian Marketing Intern and support them.


What we’re looking for:

  • An inclusive mindset.

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in event management, trade marketing or general marketing preferred.

  • Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages are a plus.

  • Knowledge and involvement in the environmental movement is a strong plus. 

  • Willingness to work on certain weekends and to travel within Italy as needed.

  • Understanding of Patagonia’s products and market.

  • Excellent computer knowledge and general skills to learn new systems.

  • Organized, dynamic and self-motivated.

  • Able to work independently.

  • A love of the outdoors.

  • A passion for saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work.


Other important details:

  • This is a temporary full-time position based in Brunico intended to support the team for 9.5 months, ideally starting from mid-March 2026.

  • We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week.

  • This role requires travel of 20%-50%: must be open to using all various modes of transport that the company offers to travel in terms of efficiency, sustainability and costs, e.g. by plane, by car, by taxi, by train, etc.
