At a time when all life on earth is under threat of extinction, we aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imagination—to influence changes needed to protect our planet. A registered B Corporation and founding member of 1% for the Planet, Patagonia is recognised internationally for its commitment to product quality and environmental activism, contributing over $145 million in grants and in-kind donations to thousands of grassroots environmental groups around the world.

Your role:

We’re in business to save our home planet. You’ll be helping us achieve this by translating regional market dynamics and consumer preferences into commercially strong, brand-led assortments that are region and channel-relevant, margin-optimised, and aligned with Patagonia's environmental commitments.

Spanning eCommerce, owned retail, and wholesale distribution, this role drives strategic assortment decisions throughout the full product lifecycle — from seasonal planning and Go-to-Market readiness through to in-season trading and performance analysis.

Define channel segmentation approach, ensuring clear product differentiation. Identify opportunities across channels and accounts that drive incremental business value while positioning the brand. Ensure the assortments’ data accuracy is maintained in merchandising systems and timely updates for operational readiness.

Seasonal Planning & GTM Execution

Partner with Demand and Inventory Planning team and channel heads to create integrated seasonal plans with channel and account differentiation. Partner on the seasonal merchandising calendar to meet GTM milestones. Ensure GTM readiness by confirming product segmentation, aligning seasonal narratives across channels, and help validate wholesale and suggested retail pricing.

Performance Analysis & In-Season Trading

Monitor in-season sales, inventory, and margin targets to identify risks and opportunities. Recommend and implement adjustments to forecasts and assortment strategies to maximize profitability and minimize excess inventory. Present trading insights and assortment recommendations to support agile decision making.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Sell-In

Work hand in hand with Category Merchandising and Demand and Inventory Planning teams to ensure aligned, timely execution of assortment strategies. Build strong relationships with channel leaders, commercial teams, and global merchandising counterparts, adapting quickly to market changes and customer insights. Support Wholesale teams as needed for sell-in presentations and pitching. Facilitate account meetings and assortment discussions as needed.
