Your role:

You lead Supply and Inventory Planning for Patagonia EMEA, ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right place to maximize performance across all sales channels. By developing robust processes, improving tools, and driving allocation strategies, the Lead enables efficient inventory flow, minimizes aged stock, and safeguards margin and customer experience. The role also builds and leads a team of planners and fosters strong collaboration with global supply teams and regional stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and business results.



Main tasks:

  • Supply Planning Excellence:

Lead EMEA supply planning through effective collaboration with the global supply teams to ensure the availability of the right goods, at the right location and on-time for EMEA. Review EMEA buys, monitor and plan supply availability and take the appropriate measures to maximize performance, including air shipment decisions. Provide transparency to EMEA stakeholders, including senior leadership, on supply status and actions taken.

  • Inventory planning:

Manage the EMEA inventory to provide the right products at the right place, overseeing EMEA allocation and deep diving to retail store allocation, organizing inventory distribution between Netherlands and UK, providing transparency to EMEA stakeholders and monitoring ageing inventory in collaboration with sales.

  • Team management:

Lead two professionals in the execution of planning and allocation tasks, ensuring clarity of priorities, quality of outputs and alignment with Patagonia’s values. Adhere to the annual performance development cycle through goal setting and regular feedback conversations, creating an environment that encourages learning and ownership

  • Stakeholders management:

Act as the primary point of contact within EMEA for Inventory and Supply topics, maintaining strong connections with stakeholders, ensuring their understanding of Inventory & Supply, and collaborating to achieve business objectives.

  • Process & Tool Development:

Continuously improve planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Identify opportunities for innovation and implement solutions that strengthen operational performance.



What we’re looking for:

  • An inclusive mindset

  • In depth understanding of Supply Planning within a global organization

  • In depth understanding of Inventory Planning and the construction of a distribution network

  • Full understanding of D365 on inventory / supply planning functionalities

  • Full understanding of team supervision and development to coach direct reports, set priorities, and build capacity for supply planning excellence across channels.

  • Good expertise in analysis / reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI

  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders across planning & merchandising.

  • Good presentation and communication skills able to convey complex concepts

  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus

  • A love of the outdoors

  • An interest in saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work


Other important details:

  • This is a Temporary full-time position based in Amsterdam, intended to support the team until mid April 2027.

  • We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
